    Altered the sleeves of this pattern to be less flared. I also had to hem quite a bit but that was no big deal! I ended up not putting darts because I used a mesh lace fabric. It was extremely fast to assemble as well. I would definitely reuse the pattern, and alter as needed :)

    This pattern comes with a layout. I have been printing patterns for a few years and very few add a layout. The cutting lines are also very bold so you can see them clearly. The pattern was easy to follow, the dress was simple, I was able to cut, sew, and add finishing touches in about an hour and 45 min

    Easy to follow and beginner friendly. Pattern fit true to size. Sleeves are. A bit too long, so just hem them at will :) I added some darts on the back neckline and on the lower back to tuck in the fabric a bit.

    I made the Mia dress with the bell sleeves (long version) and absolutely love it! I’m getting back into sewing after many many years off and this is my first pattern that I’ve bought digitally and printed out. The formatting doesn’t quite match up but is relatively easy to problem solve when cutting out your desired size. Instructions were clear and the diagrams help as a visual.

    Great pattern and easy to follow. I adjusted the seam allowance to make it a french seam, but it worked perfectly. Great bias pattern that i will be using again for sure.

    Love the final product but deviated from the pattern. I added ties at the waist, raised the front neck by 1” in the center to get more of a boat neck, and cropped the body by 3” to make it similar to the realization par Brigitte dress. My other deviations from the pattern included shortening the sleeves by 5”, using only french seams, and hemming after the panels were sewn together (I would recommend because the panels didn’t line up perfectly)! Next time I would narrow the upper sleeves and focus the flair to the lower 5”. Fit was great and chosen based on the measurements in the size chart!

    Finished result is super cute! I constructed it a bit differently than advised (i like to do my sleeves different) but it turned out great. Very cute boatneck bias dress. Cut the sleeve 8inches shorter and cut the dress 2inches shorter.
