  The pattern is super simple. It's true that the neckline is quite wide for a larger bust, but the wider lace helps to cover a bit more 😅. I also think the choice of fabric is crucial; with a fabric that drapes well, it looks great, but if you use a stiffer fabric, I think reducing the skirt's slope would be a good option. I really liked it, so I made several, since my teenager asked for one just like it as soon as she saw it. Mine is an XL, and I altered the blue one, using a medium for the bust and a small for the waist.

  I really enjoyed making this pattern. I always read reviews thoroughly and felt confident to buy this pattern after making many of Rosys before. I lined the bodice, semi burrito methoding it and added ties using another reviews suggestion. I checked in with Rosy on her thoughts on lining and whether it would change the pattern. As always Rosy was prompt and helpful. I would probably size up if I were to make again and possibly make the arm holes a slight bit bigger.

  I love this pattern. Easy to follow instructions and beautiful end result. I made myself a medium and made some adjustments — making the arm holes bigger and I lengthened the skirt. I also made little button loops out of excess fabric rather than using elastic. Which I just think looks nicer

  This was my first dress ever! I messaged rosy once before purchasing the pattern and she immediately responded, thank you! 4 stars as I think the pattern instructions could’ve been a little more detailed for beginner level. I would say I’m a nervous-confident beginner, and am glad the dress turned out so cute! I hacked the pattern quite a bit: 1) Changed to midaxi length by extending the side seam of the skirt to 85cm (I’m 164cm tall). 2) Swapped the front buttons to x3 rouleau ties. This also adds an adjustable fit! 3) Added a tie to the back 7cm down from the shoulder seam, to ensure the straps didn’t fall off my shoulders. This tie actually improves the fit significantly so I’d recommend adding one. 4) Added a lining layer to the front bodice, and attached bra cups for extra support/coverage since my linen was quite thin

  I made a size M according to the size chart, but I found that the bust was quite tight. I solved that by making the button loops slightly larger. I also lengthened the skirt by 1 inch, but that's just personal preference. The instructions were well illustrated and very clear! Would recommend!
